Kyoto Summer/Spring Program must be students of our partner universities who are:

• Good understanding of lectures taught in English
• Excellent academic performance
• Japanese language proficiency requirements: NONE

Preferable candidates

• Students who have never been to Japan
• Students who have never studied Japanese language
• Students whose major is not Japanese or Japanese studies
• Undergraduate students
• Preference will be given to students from your university, but international students studying at your university may also apply.

Kyoto Summer/Spring Program must be students of our partner universities who are:

• Students who have an experience(s) in taking classes about Japanese studies or related fields (e.g. Japanese literature, Japanese history, etc.)
• Students enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program
